Sintonia Attunement III:
Gibrana Cervantes + Mohammad Reza Mortazavi Abendkasse: 15 € The final attunement invites a deep, immersive encounter shaped by resonance and spatial awareness. Challenging conventional modes of projection, the experience unfolds through ambient lighting and abstract compositions, subtly distributed throughout the space. Gibrana Cervantes layers processed violin textures that move between delicacy and intensity, while Mohammad Reza Mortazavi’s masterful hand percussion builds intricate, trance-like rhythms. Together, they shape a shared sonic field where sound is clearly spatial and perception turns collective. The first edition of Sintonia will take place in the historic Galiläakirche in Berlin-Friedrichshain, consisting of three encounters from September to November 2025. Each evening will feature two performances, opening a space for audiovisual and spatial interaction. Moving beyond conventional stage settings and embracing the unique architectural puzzle of the church, the program and lineup will unfold in conversation with the venue itself. https://sintonia.io/ |

Katharina Ernst’s new solo album, Extrametric II,
will be released this fall on her newly founded label Extrametric Records (extrametric.net). Extrametric II continues the approach of her 2018 debut Extrametric – which combined “abstract composition with polyrhythmic solo performance on drums” – but now also incorporates voice and text in addition to an electro-acoustically expanded drum kit. https://www.extrametric.net/extrametric2/ https://galilaea-kirche.de/event/katharina-ernst-record-release-extrametric-ii/ |

Go Out and Play - film and screening
English OV D 2024, 90 min, directors: Philip Morris, Jérémie Pujau In 2013, Salon Bruit e.V. and Audition Records organized a series of concerts by female musicians and sound artists from the experimental scene in the cinema of an ex-squat in Berlin. Each concert was filmed and released online accompanied by an interview with the artist, as a means of offering a partial, but necessary, insight into an extremely dynamic scene – currently confronted with gentrification, dwindling financial support and increasingly conservative cultural policy - for which documentation is lamentably sparse. Echoing the way its protagonists conceive their music, this experimental documentary, through radical aesthetic choices, also gives insight into their unique approach to creating and performing in a genre that eludes the dominant musical rules and structures. Featuring Liz Allbee, Charly Birkenhauer, Alexandra Cárdenas, Audrey Chen, CoCo, Anat Cohavi, Anna Friz, Felicity Mangan, Andrea Neumann, Abigail Sanders, Heidrun Schramm, Anaïs Tuerlinckx, Els Vandeweyer, Sabine Vogel, Antje Vowinckel, Roberta WJM, Ute Wassermann, Marta Zapparoli, JD Zazie. Followed by Q&A and concert with musicians featured in the film |

Fabiana Striffler – Geige & Stimme
New York, Garry Dial (Grammy „live at the Village Vanguard“) (Foto: James Dragovic) https://www.fabianastriffler.com |

LEFT SIDE RIGHT & XENOFOX
Set 1: Left Side Right Tobias Klein & Lothar Ohlmeier: Bass - Clarinet Duo Tobias Klein is a bass clarinetist, saxophonist, and bandleader of groups including Spinifex. Over the past 30 years, he has composed highly acclaimed works for his own ensembles as well as for chamber music formations. Lothar Ohlmeier is praised for his exceptional tone control, virtuosic phrasing, and mastery of musical contexts ranging from contemporary classical music to jazz and free improvisation. They have been collaborating since 1996. Their first duo CD, titled Left side right, was recently released on the TryTone label. Set 2: Xenofox Olaf Rupp. electric guitar Rudi Fischerlehner: drums Over the last 30 years, Olaf Rupp consistently has acquired a more and more spectralistic irreverence: for him everything is sound. This makes the fingerboard become a huge pool of sound, as it is not only open to electronic musicians, from whom this conception of material originates. Rudi Fischerlehner´s form-language circles like a polymetric vortex around a center without sticking to it. On the contrary, these elliptically asymptotic drum loops keep shooting new things into orbit. Xenofox has existed since 2014 and is documented on numerous releases, most recently on the album "The Garden Was Empty". Concert invitations have taken the band to A L´Arme Festival Berlin, Kaleidophon Ulrichsberg, Lydfestival Aarhus and the Free Music Forum in Vienna, among others |

DARA Strings meets Chuchchepati Orchestra
This week-long concert tour in Switzerland and Germany, featuring a joint string ensemble, is a first-time collaboration between the DARA String Festival and the Chuchchepati Orchestra. The instruments are distributed throughout the space via a multi-channel speaker installation and enhanced with live electronics. The speakers, with their characteristic resonance, expand the ensemble’s sound and create a site-specific overall soundscape integrating modern technologies and spatial phenomena. The program is complemented by smaller acoustic sets at selected concerts. CENTAZZO–SJÖSTRÖM–BEYER–BORGHINI
Harri Sjöström – soprano saxophone Andrea Centazzo – percussion Kriton Beyer – daxophone, electronics Antonio Borghini – double bass A rare and captivating lineup by some of today’s most innovative contemporary improvisers. Blurring the boundaries between structure and spontaneity, their upcoming concert at the Kühlspot Social Club in Berlin promises a dynamic range of sounds: from raw, noise-infused textures to delicate melodic passages, and from abstract experimentation to infectious rhythmic grooves – a one-of-a-kind sonic experience that defies easy categorization. Each moment unfolds unpredictably, shaped by the immediate energy of the room and the chemistry between the performers. The result is a deeply immersive journey through the outer edges of improvisational music, reflecting the ensemble’s spirit of artistic freedom and bold experimentation. |

Hunger & Orchestre Harmonie de St. Tricotin – „Trikotin“-Releasekonzert
Hunger: Christoph Rothmeier (Die Lampe, Kröter) - Schlagzeug, Synthesizer, Theremin. Jörg Hochapfel (Bruchgold & Koralle, Onom Agemo & The Disco Jumpers, Palais d’Amour) - Keyboards, Gitarre. Mit dem Orchester „Harmonie de St. Tricotin“: Fabiana Striffler (Violine), Uwe Haas (Bassklarinette), Anna Viechtl (Harfe), Kalle Zeier (Gitarre) und Isabel Rössler (Kontrabass). Hunger 25.11. Open Lab #5: elisanyhm + sexette
We are excited to establish a new format with silent green Open Lab for young Berlin musicians taking their first steps onto the stage — free from pressure or market-driven presentation. elisanyhm - Composer, sound artist, and dj based in Berlin. Her work is located at the intersection between spoken word and electronic music. She mainly uses FM synthesis, voice, field recordings, and found sounds to generate textural sonic landscapes. sexette - Drawing from a year of isolation and chronic illness, sexette creates ambient soundscapes and surreal poetry that oscillate between lullaby and unease. Using kaossilators, bedroom-born sounds, and accidental glitches, their work explores longing, sickness, and the nonlinear rhythms of grief. https://www.silent-green.net/en/programme/detail/2025/12/1/silent-green-open-lab-5 Doors: 7 pm / Start: 8 pm | Free admission |
