ANIL ERASLAN / MICHAEL THIEKE

For this edition, La Mona brings together artists from Latin America —based in Europe, in Berlin, and across its many diasporas— along with sonic allies from other countries who share their spirit and frequency. They arrive with exposed wires, unruly devices, and a militant commitment to sonic exploration. Expect derailed electronics, radical improvisation, and performances that would most likely require a consular report. The Embassy guarantees authorized dissonances, rhythmic turbulence, high voltage, and an international musical exchange stamped as official… even if no one remembers who signed it. 19hs doors | 20hs music |

Alexander Beierbach - saxophone, flute
Set 2: Song Yi Jeon - vocals, effects Vojta Drnek - prepared accordion Isabel Rößler - double bass A collective improvisational trio exploring the outer edges of sound with an unexpected instrumental palette: voice drenched in live effects, raw accordion textures, and deep, resonant bass. Their music unfolds like a sonic landscape. Gritty and atmospheric, pulsing with an analog warmth that feels both ancient and futuristic. Layers of noise, melody, and rhythm drift through the soundscape like signals from distant worlds, while high-tech manipulations twist and warp the acoustic core. |

Christian Marien Quartett - Record Release Konzert
Tobias Delius: Tenorsaxophon, Klarinette Jasper Stadhouders: Gitarre Antonio Borghini: Kontrabass Christian Marien: Schlagzeug „This is a quartet that doesn’t just play together; they breathe together.” Lynn René Bayley, The Art Music Lounge, 29.1.2024 Mit diesem Konzert feiern wir die Veröffentlichung unseres zweiten Albums „Beyond the Fingertips”.

She was admitted to hospital on 20 June and underwent successful surgery on 23 June. After a period of rest and rehabilitation (her right leg and arm need to regain their functionality), she began six weeks of radiotherapy. Since 6 October, she is in a rehabilitation and physiotherapy centre. This will be followed by six months of chemotherapy, with six days of treatment per month. Since 20 June, Sophie is covered by social security. This represents a significant reduction in her income. She does not currently know when she will be able to start playing again. She will therefore need money to continue paying her rent, her additional medical expenses, her month at the rehabilitation centre, which is not fully reimbursed by social security, etc. It is also important to know that she is in good spirits, determined not to give up and to return to the stage soon! You can support her by sending whatever you can/want either through this platform, onparticipe.fr, which will then forward it to her. Jérôme Noetinger is taking care about it: https://www.onparticipe.fr/c/unnT5tKT |
